Book Review

It always lights up our spirits when we hear kind reviews!

Here are just a few we have received below:

Review time!

Dr. Karie Zamarripa, Carpenter

Rarely do authors capture a child's attention in one book with both fantasy and facts. As a parent, grandparent and former public school librarian, this is a wonderful way to lead a reader to learn from both the fiction and non-fiction sections of a library. The authors also add a beautiful story about friendship and the importance of helping others. With the bonus instructions on how to make the daisy chain, children and adults will appreciate this little Twilla and Rye.

A great story, easy to follow, creative, educational, and entertaining.  The adventures of the characters demonstrate valuable life lessons. It’s a fun read that promotes setting goals and working to accomplish them.  Love the instructions at the end of the story for readers to make their own version of what the characters create.  Have fun with it, I know I did.

A delightful, educational, and inspirational tale of compassion and friendship. ‘The Festival of the Pines’ introduces us to beautiful natural wonders and reminds us to care for those close to us.

I highly recommend the Twilla and Rye children’s book series! As a first grade teacher, I was able to use these magical books and pair them with the curriculum. The books actually covered some of my State standards! I love how the books have learning opportunities all throughout the book. With the characters being set in actual pictures of national parks and amazing places across America, You can educate your students about these places. Some children may never get to see some of these beautiful places across America and this book allows them to experience and enjoy the National parks in a whole new way.One of the best things about this book is that anyone can feel included in it. Every culture and background can feel the magic of this book, it does not exclude anyone. I would highly recommend this book for your classroom, for your home, or a gift to a child. You won’t regret it!
